Washington, Dec 19 (ANI): Pakistan has claimed that supreme Taliban leader, Mulla Muhammed Omar and his commanders were staying in Kandahar, and not in Pakistan.
A Pakistan embassy spokesman refuted the newspaper Baltimore Sun's claim that the Taliban had a "command and control structure operating on Pakistan territory, in and around Quetta".Press minister at Pakistan embassy in Washington, M. Akram Shaheedi, said that the Taliban commanded considerable support from the local population in Kandahar."This is not true because Mulla Muhammed Omar and his Taliban commanders are in Kandahar, their home district and the base of the Taliban. They command considerable support from the local population there. They could not hide in Quetta because Pakistan's intelligence and security network is very effective. The presence of the Taliban leadership could not go unnoticed there.

I really wish Pakistan would stop fucking around with us and get serious about the Taliban leadership. I can't believe they continue to deny the Taliban's leaders are in Quetta, Pakistan. Overhwhelming evidence has been presented this year by the US, Great Britain, and the Afghans to support the notion that Mullah Omar and his scumbag comrades are residing in Pakistan. Hell, Hamid Karzai gave the Pakistani government Mullah Omar's goddamn house address. According to one intelligence agent in a CNN article in September, they even had Mullah Omar tracked to a particular section of Quetta, Pakistan. IT IS COMMON KNOWLEDGE THAT THE TALIBAN LEADERSHIP IS IN PAKISTAN!!!! END OF STORY!!!!
The Bush administration better pull the stick out of its ass and demand Pakistan arrest the Taliban leadership NOW!!! If Bush refuses, violence in Afghanistan will continue! And it will get worse and worse and WORSE!!! Cut the head off the snake!!!
